Welcome to Telecom/Telstra/PMG Tasmania Reunion 2004

A heavy cloud cover and the threat of rain greeted the morning of the Sunday, 1st February 2004, the day of the second Telecom Tasmania Reunion.
On looking out her window, Teena Hansson thought to herself, "This will cause the attendance to be down." She was right.
Despite the fact that it didn't rain till after the function finished, only about 100 people turned up at Tolosa Park to greet past and present friends and colleagues.
Many tall tales and true were exchanged, experiences revisited and acquaintances renewed. Frank Wilson again brought his Telecom scrap books along enabling us to recall past friends and occasions. Others also had photo's of great interest to share around.
Since that day I have been inundated with protests from people who did not know the reunion was on. Don't let this happen next time; as well as marking it in your own diary, please ensure other past & present PMG/Telecom/Telstra employees put the date in their diary also.

The next reunion will be on Sunday 7th February 2010 from 11.00am onwards. Please tell everyone you know about this big day!

A particular "thanks" Anthony Jones and Chris Hope who specially came from interstate to attend the reunion, Steve Ralph who came from Devonport to be with us and who also assisted with the photographs, and last but not least Deirdre Schoe who provided most of the photographs.

Special mention again to Teena Hansson who performed her usual organisational minor miracle and to Royce Cusick who designed and constructed this website.

2004 Tasmanian Telstra Reunion
